Biography	Nicky's love of dance music began when he made his first trip to Ibiza which converted him into a lover of all things electronic. It was a few years later, after saving up for his first set of decks, he got his debut at the now legendary SMB night held at the Big Joint and ran by local DJ Colin Bell. From this platform he was invited to play guest slots at a number of club nights running in and around Glasgow, including Rectify, Refresh, Connected, Pandemonium, Caution, Motion and also many more appearances at SMB. With each set, Nicky's reputation grew, his unique style combined his eclectic tastes with his unbound enthusiasm for the music he was playing and his ability to get the party started no matter what time he played. Nicky honed his DJ skills in the Glasgow club scene but also branched out with gigs as far afield as Leeds, Ibiza, over a number of summers he spent working there, and even Thailand! It was not long before Nicky earned a headline slot in the main room at Room At The Top for Connected and a number of appearances in the same club when Rectify joined forces with Inside Out which then led to a triumphant set at the Arches for Inside Out v Rectify. Since then, Nicky has turned his hand to producing his own songs and remixes, and his music can be found at www.myspace.com/beetniksound With his twisted electronic beats starting to get attention from other producers and record labels it won't be long before Nicky's success as a DJ will also be mirrored by his success as a producer!
