BiographyJB has been part of a collective of like minded individuals who share a common interest in music for 14 years. It all started for him when he picked up his first CD in 1992, Moonshine "Techno Truth Vol.1". After hearing those driving & euphoric sounds he was hooked and determined to be part of the EDM culture. It is the collective that has been dubbed today by the majority as Electronica. A place that he calls home, where friendships & unity are part of the culture, and where the next chapter of his life is about to play out.

After hearing those intial sounds, JB spent the next 14 years traveling to endless open air massives, festivals, & gatherings plus many indoor clubs and warehouses to dance all night in a sea of color coded party goers. His travels and experiences were not done in vain or to be forgotten in sub-consicious memories. While at these events he did not just listen &
dance, he watched and researched each event, noting in his mind how each performer would motivate the crowd to move.

It was not till 2004, when everything that JB had been part of and learned changed. He was motivated and pushed in a direction that was not that of a party goer. The venue was 1015 Folsom in San Francisco, and Paul Van Dyk took the reigns for a four hour trip that still can be heard in JB's inner ear. Missing in JB's memories or travels was a DJ who would leave him with a new renowned experience, an out of body experience, pushing him to want more and wishing the experience would not end. After taking in that nights experiences, JB watched the crowd and he knew then that he too wanted to be a DJ.

For the next 2 years JB's aspirations were to transition from party goer to DJ. He was determined to succeed and to move or motivate others as countless other DJ's had done for him over the years. He invested in the standard equipment that he had seen in his travels, 2 Technics SL1200 MKII, 2 Pioneer CDJ-1000 MKII, and a Vestax PCV-275. During this time,
JB buried himself in his bedroom, staring a white wall, learning the skills necessary to be a successful DJ. Versatility was necessary and outside of the mixer which seemed to change at any event, JB became comfortable with the tools of the trade.

In January of 2006, JB began to make his move and break into the scene. But he was met with resistance, he was located in an area that was not quite atuned to the global trance sound. This minor setback did not deture him, and he began to network with others via Myspace. Come March of that year, he got his foot in the door by getting booked with a Southern California
promoter, plus booked his own weekly radio show on Orbital Grooves Radio (www.orbitalgrooves.com), CRUSH ONLINE SESSIONS, where he focuses on trance.

2006 was a great start for JB, but fastforward to 2007 and he continues to make moves and network. Still early on in the year and he has already been accepted to do events with Northern California promter, Dan of Till Dawn Productions. He continues to do events in SoCal with various promoters and JB plans to push harder to continue to establish himself in the community as a DJ. Although he is a determined individual, he is quick to point out that he could not do it alone and recognizes that his wife of 11 years has been his biggest supporter, motivator, & strenghth in continuing to follow his dreams and succeed on level where one day he can travel the world.
