 | I have been following electronica for so long and am still amazed myself that i still enjoy the scene so much. From smurfing to the likes of Hashim and Freestyle in the 80's to bangin industrial sets from Nitzer ebb and A split Second and then in the 90's witnessing the beginning of the new era with The Prodigy and warehouse raves featuring Digital Boy and Rabbit in the Moon. Then came Moby and prog trance with the likes of Oakenfold, Sandra Collins, Tiesto and Christopher Lawrence and the arrival of big dance festivals. I listen to digital radio often and see live sets when i can. I enjoy mixing various Trance, proghouse, techno,Minimal and also ambient down tempo. I have an extensive cd and digital library but always adding more.
I am pulling away from prog trance and uplifting trance last few years as I've Spent time in France doing the psytrance festivals and my mixing style is leaning towards the sets I have been hearing there along with psytrance/trance outings in and around Paris. Mixing is an artform. I try to design each set as an emotional experience and mix different types of music depending on the mood of the set. You will never hear all proghouse or all progtrance in my sets for example. Hope you enjoy them. |

| my sets have a habit of jumping around a lot like a well balanced alt rock album would. It is hard for me to carry the same mood and nrg for a whole set and without having a song to dance to, reflex in or simply close your eyes and get lost in. This is something i have picked up from listening and witnessing certain dj's / producers over the years. If i am going to offer something for others to listen to, i want it to feel intimate and not artificial. thanks for listening and btw, i am checking out your pure mix ATM. Space (orginal prodigy track)...you kill me...here we go again. | |
