	Greetings from the west. I go by Mark Pharrow and I am here to bring you my vision of the MIDI Generation. These mixes will range through various types of the house music genre. Biography	Mark Pharrow: Music for the MIDI generation. Mark Pharrow started his journey into a music career at a young age. As a student in school, Mark played in school bands and extra curricular bands. Once he entered his teen years he developed a lack of interest in analog music. Bands like the Nine Inch Nails and Sash became his big interests. As time went on he developed an addiction to electronic music. Mark attended local dance events in the Calgary region and took an instant interest in the DJ. Blown away by ones ability to captivate a crowd, Mark decided that he as well wanted to learn to harness the ability. It did not take long for Mark to learn the techniques of beat matching and mixing; with a strong background in musical theory, Mark was able to count the music and match it with ease. With this natural ability and a hard edged sound that was washing over Calgary, little time passed before Mark was noticed. Mark played several local events solo then joined up with long time friend and fellow DJ Terry Waychuk. Mark and Terry once teamed up took a look at the dance scene and developed a unique sound and fun atmosphere for crowds across Canada. Playing alongside names such as DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, DJ Dean and even Johan Gielen Mark was exposed to extremely different aspects of music. As years passed, Mark and Terry watched electronic music mature and adapted their show to match the wants of party kids across the nation. All night dance events became more and more rare so Terry and Mark took their show to the clubs. Once there, Mark and Terry began to focus on their solo projects once again. In the club, Mark has been known to play anything from funky house to gritty tech house. Every crowd is different, every club is different and the time of night will honestly change my style. I never play the same set twice. I do my best to make eye contact with different people in the crowd and develop a relationship with them through my music. If they shake their bodies or raise their drinks, I usually am doing alright. The only rule I usually follow is going out bangin! Behind the decks Mark has been described as a relaxed cool individual who goes about his business in a professional manner. Mark has a style of mixing that keeps the crowd involved and excited in his set. Exciting climaxes and smooth transition give Mark the ability to excite a room. Currently Mark is in the process expanding his future south of the border. Attending classes in North Carolina, Mark has been feeling out the club scene in the NC area. Mark is a distance from us right now but as a Canadian and Calgary native he can be found rocking local events and nightclubs
