 | Bought my first record back in 1978(UB40:i think its gonna rain today. Still got it), loved all the punk thing(ruts,clash,etc)anything with a roots/dub connection.
Always saved up my money as a kid to buy records and hi-fi. Bought my first decks when Rockit by herbie hancock, and grandmaster flash were comming through, and basically went from there. Did the summer of love thing from 89 to pretty much now(its been a good summer, and its still going. I honestly dont see a time when I'll ever stop buying/playing tunes). Mucked about with pirate radio during the late nineties(building rigs/playing). Influences: there's been loads. Too many to mention here. I love the way house has fragmented into so many different genres. I've taken something from all of them along the way to get to where I am right now. I have no hard and fast rule about buying records, it could be litrally anything. If I like it, it's in my box. Gruff. |
