| Cutting-edge tracks themeatically create a dreamscape of vast proportions propelling you ever onward with a syncopated, mesmerizing cadence, culminating in the dynamic Air Condition which is fully satisfying as an ending. Along the way are tracks that you know and enjoy as well, which make this Nightmare more of a surreal daydream than anything really scary - such as something Da_Buddah might dream up on a bad day! And that man is talented at making up some crazy stuff, for sure!
Regardless, this effort showcases excellent mixing skills as well, but OBR has far better, more obsure works that I think deserve more attention - yet the tracks here are melded together with great care and are very, very good. None-the-less, the title of this is off-base I think, and for that I would knock it down one star. Nightmares should be scary and evil, this was not. But, still and all, terrific! Four stars. | |
