Yes, it is.......Posted 02/18/10 by NamelessDJ
So i will say thank you for reaction and your comment.
And well so it is, it is a partymix. In germany we have a official
disk compilation. The people say DREAM DANCE to this compilation.

I take a view tracks from four cd`s, and mix it.

In near future i will give you a new trance compilation includes
full lenght tracks. And so on....

A mixset that is mixed well ...Posted 02/11/10 by macpromikem
... but for me is a tad too hard-edged and disjointed and similar in sound that I got lost. As I consider this effort my first thought is reflective that the DJ says this is "27 tracks in 48 minutes"; a commercial bootleg mix. And that is exactly what it is. Perhaps there was a thread of continuity in this, but I cannot find it - other than the beat. So many of the tracks sounded the same, so many were presented I couldn't ever really focus or enjoy any one in particular. Even going through it slowly, listening carefully for transitions, I was lost in one song to the next. Meaning: the mixing was swift and eager, but the tunes often sounded the same from one-to-the-other, and that kept bothering me. There was not enough variety and it just moved to fast. Also, I was not throughly able to feel this as dance music - it all just seemed the same cadence at every turn.

With that said, everyone enjoys things differently - obviously - and in this case, this may have been more a mixset for the DJ to see how much he could jam into a short space (ala DJ Johnny Ice) for his own deep enjoyment as opposed to everyone else. I get the feeling that this mixset did not take much effort to produce, as well. I also do not find this a "dream" type of named effort, either. It was more a "Party" feel.

I cannot give this mixset higher than an average score of three stars. Two listens was enough. I'd not go a third. That, for me, is telling that either I have a bad, bad ear for tunes, or the commercial stuff presented herein is so cheesy and awful as to leave me running out the door. I wanted to like this, but it is flat and without a lot of imagination other than cramming "27 tracks into 48 minutes."

Suffice-it-to-say, Nameless DJ does, indeed, know what he's doing and I look forward to hearing more from him in the future.

Hello everybody,
you rate the mix only with 1 point, without a comment whats wrong with it.
I think it isn´t FAIR.
But allright, it can be so cool and fair here, with the right people who tell
the owner and d.j. what is good or what is bad or what can do the d.j. better.
