| progresses into a minimal, even more cold tone as the mixset moves on. Smart and slick with some nice moments of cadence and bliss, at other times bleepy and full of blips in a techno slant. Not one to leave you hanging like that in a chilly, dark spot, the dj morphs the mixset back to housey vocals imploring you to stay - even for just a little bit longer.
And you do decide to stay, being rewarded with great tracks! Like the ebb and flow of time, this mixset does waver in many ways from the sublime to the techy, the house to the minimal. Mixed adroitly and with panche, this is a nice effort that reaches far and achieves the goal. Creativity: 5 stars Track selection: 5 stars Mixing: 5 stars 10 out of ten points. | |
