| Just wanted to say thanks for sharing. I love minimal techno and electro and this mix's slow changes and minimal techy sounds are pretty dope. i'm a bit more partial to more verbose tunes... but like i said, thanks for sharing what you like.

| of vast minimalistic ear candy, Sven Jozwiak supplies no track listing to accompany this effort, yet, would it matter anyway when you never know when a new track seques into range? No matter as this mixset is a dynamic excursion into all things blips and bleeps, snorts and guffaws, glass tinkling chimes and chirps of birds, hisses and whooshs and banging beats on all manner of materials. This genre is better called "INDUSTRO" as opposed to any other name like: techno or electro or minimal. This sound is INDUSTRO and I hereby, on this day, christen the word INDUSTRO to describe this form of musicical genre. Other INDUSTRO DJs would include ExtraKT and Lawrie Stewart and even Mr. Monster, that are able to discern and play this type of shiz.
But, I digress. Sven's mixset here is a great one indeed. Full of all wonderful sounds and never stopping the amazement factor, and albeit a few of the tracks are common in the genre, for the most part this was a "wow" effort and I think we need to hear much more from Sven. Let's hope he will be so kind as to UPLOAD the mixsets for us to download, to really appreciate them at our leisure, on our players, away from our computers. A focused listen to this mixset detected a slight sound problem in a few spots, and a couple trainwrecks as well, yet did not at all diminish the enjoyment factor. With no other material to judge this effort against, I am going to say three.eight stars - rounded out to a four. On a scale of 1 to 10, I warrant this a 6.8 (to bad we do not have a better scale system here at TFM.....But we will not ever, so I will begin instituting an second rating scale with all of my comments.) Welcome to TFM, Sven. | |
