| and with that, this mixset starts off like a dream and carries you through an imaginary journey to ports unknown. You could be on a trip to Africa, or the Yucatan, you are not sure. Yet, each track seems to take you away with it, where it is going, demanding you follow along and not lag. Like a many layered lasagne, each track melds into the next like tomato sauce into pasta, into ricotta, into ground beef; the cheese on this casserole is the spicey hand with which this effort is created. And, like a good lasagne, you can taste it all at once or savor each flavor individually.
This set has been put together by a chef named Hot Bruce. One wonders how Hot Bruce got his name? Was it the spicey way he handles the beef or the way he makes the beef taste?
