| or gardening for an hour, or indulging in more sensual exploits for an hour. New world jazz sounds mixed with style and grace, woven and assembled with a quirky ear for more refined tricks; a great set for afficandos of this more jazzy house than the norm. You may Samba, Waututzi, or Bossa Nova your way across the dance floor - if you are so lucky as to know how to dance those very hip, orchestrated bits of fancy footwork from times past. Or make up your own as you go.
The slowish start to this set is counterpointed by the last half-hour. Less than five stars here, but more than four. I will take a listen to the LoveLizard's other sets and make that rating determination at another time. But this is great lounge music and you will feel yourself dipped into it's jazzy coffeeness like a fresh beignet in the French Quarter. This is quailty work and the older you are the more you may appreciate it the Orleans Jazz feel that is redolent through this set. A must download for more uptempo, hip types - no kiddies here! | |
