How do I upload mixes?
Step 1. Register with the Site and confirm your email account.
Step 2. Go to Account > DJ Application in your user control panel.
Step 3. Fill out and send DJ Application. Most accounts are approved in less than 24 hours.
Step 4. To upload go to Account > Upload and you now have 1.5GB of hosting space.
You can check the status of your account by going to Profile>Main. Check your profile member status and if it says DJ, you've been activated. If you have any questions contactKeiichi.
Want to Spin Live?
If you have a dj account and wish to spin live on TFM, follow these steps.
1. Visitwww.dslreports.com/stest and complete a speedtest. You must have a minimum of 200Kbp/s UPLOAD Speed. If you have less than this, you will not be able to stream live.
2. Go to calendar page and clickadd event.
3. Fill out the form for the time you wish to broadcast at. Make sure to select the your best available time, proper stream, and site id.
4. Click Add
Your request will be put through an approval process where we will evaluate your mixes. Please allow a maximum of one week for approval. We will notify you via email if you have been accepted.
What do I need to broadcast with Windows?
You need to download Oddcast V3 if you are using Windows. It's free and really simple to setup. You can download oddcast here at www.oddsock.org/tools/oddcastv3/ Pick the Standalone or Winamp plugin Version.
What do I need to broadcast with Mac?
If you are using Mac you need to purchase a programs called Nicecast. IT runs $40 U.S. We don't have a free solution for mac, but we hope to find one soon. If you are using Mac 10.3 or higher get the 1.8 version here at www.rogueamoeba.com/nicecast/ If you are using 10.2 you must download the legacy version which is 1.6 You can find it on the bottom of the information for the 1.8 version.
